Collaborative working to create a global HR strategy for an International NGO. Working with the HR Director and COO in Washington DC, I designed and facilitated an annual gathering of 70 top HR professionals from around the globe. It was a highly collaborative event, incorporating Open Space technology, World Café, theatre and group coaching. Participants said….

Consultation to a CEO who wanted to review his senior staffing capabilities. Working with the CEO of a global Consulting firm, we designed a low-key yet powerful assessment process to help him review and recruit new staff to his senior team. In the process the CEO developed renewed confidence in his senior staff and relationships across the team improved significantly. He said….

Using the Organisational Workshop as an engagement tool. We worked with a Further Education college that was concerned about staff morale, silo-ed working, and a lack of connection between senior management and staff and teachers on the ground. The workshop – a simulation of the complexities of life in all organisational systems and based on the ground-breaking work of Barry Oshry – involved a cross section of 80 members of staff representing all areas of the business. The experience dramatically changed negative perceptions people had held of each other across the college, enabling improved cross departmental collaboration, better alignment around the college’s strategy of putting learning at the heart of everything, and, as a result, a fundamentally improved customer experience.
